Equipment for numerous sports (cross-country and children’s skiing equipment, toboggans or snow-shoes) can be rented directly from us at the hotel.

The sunniest winter in Tyrol

A wide range of possibilities also await you off the slopes and cross-country trails. Several times a week, our guides invite you to enjoy curling on our court directly in front of our activity hotel. A snow-shoe hike in the pristine winter landscape is also unforgettable.

To warm up, we recommend a visit to our Stöttlalm.

For romantics, a horse-drawn carriage ride through the snowy Tyrolean winter landscape is a must. It’s a wonderful way to get to know our region better.

Skiing holiday in Austria

The Alpenresort is the departure point for wonderful ski excursions to the most beautiful ski areas in Tyrol. From Monday to Friday, there is also a free shuttle to the Hochoetz panoramic ski area 3 times a day.

The Schwarz ski safari

Our ski safari bus and ski safari guide take you to the most beautiful ski areas in Tyrol. The most popular ski areas are Kühtai, Pitztal-Jerzens, Seefeld and Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. Experience our ski safari from Christmas to mid-March, with 2 excursions per week and our regular Tyrolean ski safari weeks with 5 excursions per week.
The ski safari day, including ski bus, supervision by the ski guide and lift day ticket, costs approx. € 53 per person (varies depending on the ski area).

Cross-country skiing in Tyrol

The extensive network of cross-country ski trails right on our doorstep across the Mieming Plateau to Holzleiten and in Seefeld / Leutasch make our region a true paradise for all cross-country skiers. The cross-country ski trails on the Mieming Sun Plateau are both multifaceted and fascinating. The cross-country ski trail quality seal of the Tyrol region guarantees the highest quality in a magnificent mountain setting. From classic style to skating, everything is possible - and of course, free of charge.

Winter & snow-shoe hikes

Explore the special places of our region. Gently and carefully through the snow. Leave everyday life behind. Pure fascination. Breathe in the crystal-clear mountain air. For a moment, time stands still. These are the moments that remain in your memory from a (snow-shoe) hike in Tyrol. Private tours are also possible at any time.

Tobogganing is simply part of winter

One person calls it a toboggan, another a sledge. But as everyone really knows, it’s all about winter fun. Right on our doorstep are numerous opportunities for a gleeful toboggan ride for young and old. Only a 5-minute walk from the hotel is the “Holzeis-Bichl&#8221. Your little ones will be thrilled!

The popular Arzkasten/Obsteig toboggan run is only a few minutes away from us by car.
It takes about 1 ½ hours to walk to the Lehnbergalm.

In Imst (20 minutes by car) and Ehrwald (40 minutes by car) there are toboggan runs with a lift or hut taxi.
