The Mieming Plateau, 35 kilometres west of Innsbruck, shows a very special side of Tyrol. The flat, wide plateau is situated at 800 to 1,000 metres above sea level and boasts over 2,000 hours of sunshine per year. The surrounding mountain landscape is an impressive backdrop to your nature experiences and sporting activities on a Schwarz holiday. Hiking holidays In Tyrol

Here, too, the Mieming Sun Plateau offers many possibilities that can be started directly from Alpenresort Schwarz. These range from a leisurely walk around the golf course with a stop at the Stöttlalm to the challenging mountain tour in the Mieminger Kette area. there is something for everyone.

Climbing

Our region is also a paradise for all climbers:

Climbing possibilities in the Tyrol region (210 sport climbing routes, 8 multi-rope routes, 1 climbing facility, 4 via ferrata routes)
Climbing facility at Area 47 in Ötztal with Austria’s highest artificial climbing wall
At the Telfs Climbing & Bouldering Centre (10 km away), climbing enthusiasts will find around 180 bouldering structures, 100 rope routes and a dedicated learning and training area on a climbing surface covering approx. 1,400 m²

Tennis

In summer, our guests can use 3 outdoor tennis courts (2 Canada Ten clay courts and 1 Rebound Ace court) directly at the hotel free of charge. You can also book tennis coaching lessons and tennis camps for children.
