Summer and Winter in AustriaÂ
A huge range of activities are available at the Alpenresort Schwarz. The unspoilt natural surroundings and the gorgeous mountain views just make you want to get out into the fresh air. There’s definitely enough to do, with as many as seven outdoor, exercise and relaxation programmes to choose from every day.
The 27-hole Mieming Plateau golf course is located right next to the resort. The view across the Inntal Valley from the “Stöttlalm” halfway station is breathtaking. Have an unforgettable time in Mieming surrounded by idyllic countryside.

Summer
If you want to spend the day relaxing, you can find a quiet spot around the picturesque natural bathing lake or in the delightful orchard. Alpenresort Schwarz won the "Austrian Garden of Eden" State Tourism Prize thanks to the outstanding dedication of senior manager Martha Pirktl. Walking
The Schwarz hiking team of 3 qualified mountain and hiking guides offers an activity programme of 5 guided walks or easy to medium hikes each week. There are excellently maintained walking and hiking routes to suit all difficulty levels – perfect for individual excursions. Cycling
There are 2–3 guided bike rides each week. Mountain bikes and e-bikes can be hired for a small charge directly from the hotel. The region offers both easy routes for leisurely bike rides and demanding mountain bike trails. Electric kickbikes, available to hire from the hotel, offer plenty of off-road fun on 2 wheels.

Climbing
A qualified mountain and hiking guide offers weekly climbing tours for beginners and advanced climbers. Climbing equipment is available to hire. The opportunities for climbing in the area are many and varied: 210 sport climbing routes, 8 multi-pitch routes, 1 climbing wall and 4 fixed-rope routes provide ideal opportunities for guided or individual climbing tours. Austria’s largest bouldering centre is in Telfs (10 km away).

Tennis
There are 3 tennis courts right next to the hotel, which can be used free of charge from March to November.

- 1 Rebound Ace court
You can also use the indoor tennis court and clay courts in town (2 km away) free of charge, including the shuttle service. The resort’s tennis school offers group and individual tennis coaching.

HORSE-DRAWN CARRIAGE RIDES ON THE PLATEAU
A ride through the flower meadows with majestic horses and an experienced coachman who knows the best spots in the area. A carriage ride is always an unforgettable experience. As part of our weekly programme, we offer regular carriage rides on the Mieming Plateau and to the Stöttlalm restaurant. We are also happy to organise individual trips.
Weekly carriage rides:
- To the Stöttlalm restaurant, return trip € 25 per person / approx. 1 hour
- Across the plateau, with a stop for refreshments € 30 per person / approx. 1.5 hours
- We are also happy to organise individual carriage rides. All-inclusive price for up to 4 people € 100 per trip / approx. 1.5 hours

STĂ–TTLALM
Take a short walk of around 35 minutes to the Stöttlalm alpine restaurant and you will be rewarded with a magical panoramic view of the Mieming Plateau and the whole upper Inn Valley as far as Innsbruck. Whether mountain hut speciality, breakfast, brunch, Törggelen (new wine tasting) or cheese fondue - there is a warm welcome and rustic atmosphere.

TOBOGGANING
Even the walk up to the mountain hut before a toboggan ride raises anticipation levels sky high. There’s a bit of time to warm up and socialise before the unforgettable ride down to the valley. You can find popular toboggan runs for all ages in Obsteig (Lehnberghaus to the Arzkasten restaurant, 15-minute drive), Imst (20-minute drive) and Ehrwald (40-minute drive).

ALPINE SKIING - Ski safari with our ski guide Hansi
Our ski guide Hansi and the Schwarz ski safari bus take guests to the most popular winter sports resorts in the region several times a week. The ski safari day including ski bus, supervision by the ski guide and one-day lift pass costs approximately € 52 per person.
