What you need to know about reservations
Terms & Conditions

General information

Rates are exclusive of local tax (presently € 2 per person and day) and exclusive travel cancellation cover (€ 3 per person and day) – children aged up to 15 are not subject to local tax or travel cancellation cover.

Arrival and departure

Please arrange your arrival and departure for the weekend. The rooms are available for occupation from 4.00 pm. We ask you to vacate your room by 11.00 am. An extra 50% of the room cost will be charged if you wish to use the room before 12.00 pm (arrival date) or until 5.00 pm (departure day).

Deposit

The deposit will be allocated to the room of the transferor. If you make the deposit for several rooms, we ask you to inform us before arrival, so we can allocate the amounts accordingly.

Dogs

Only by prior arrangement, € 40 per dog per day (without food). We ask you to respect our request that dogs are not permitted to enter the dining rooms or spa area. Owners are liable for damage caused by their dogs.

Renovation sauna area basement

We would like to inform you that the older part in the sauna area, our "Feuerberg" in the basement is being completely rebuilt due to water damage. The sauna area with all saunas, relaxation rooms, the mountain lake and the warm water pool is available to you without restrictions. All pools and other spa facilities are open without restrictions. Further information

Short stay weekend

Short stays up to 4 nights including “Weekend” stays are at the “Weekend” rate. For short stays between Sunday and Wednesday, the standard day price applies. We are only able to accept short stay weekend bookings of 2 nights or less one month in advance. We apologise for any inconvenience. Please note our fixed weekend rates from Thursday to Sunday. We are unable to promise specific rooms for short stays.

Non-smokers

As a spa hotel, we ask for your understanding for the fact that our rooms and the entire restaurant are non-smoking areas. Smokers may use our exclusive smoking lounge.

Local tax

Rates are exclusive of local tax (presently € 2 per person and day). Children aged up to 15 are not subject to local tax.

Packages

All packages can be booked throughout the year, except for Christmas, New Year's Eve, Carnival and Easter.

Required minimum number of participants for the summer sport packages and yoga retreats

Our summer sport  packages require a minimum of 3 participants and 6 participants in yoga retreats. If this number is not reached, the programs will be individually adapted after consultation with the participants.

Travel cancellation cover

€ 3 per person/day. Covers all cancellation fees in the event of accident, sickness or death of the insured, their children, siblings, parents or grandparents prior to or during their stay.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be in written form. Up to 14 days prior to commencement of the holiday, there are no charges. From 14 days prior to commencement of the holiday, for a booking of up to 3 nights, we will charge 80% of the booked arrangement. From 4 nights we will charge for 3 days of your holiday. In the event of early departure, we will charge a maximum of 3 nights of the unused booking.

Cancellation conditions for Wellness Club members - reduced cancellation fees:

It is possible to cancel for free up to 1 week before the day of your arrival. In case of cancellation in the 7 days prior to your departure or in case of early departure, the cancellation fee, reduced by 2 nights, will be charged. For bookings over Christmas or New Year’s Eve cancellations are for free up to 2 weeks before your arrival. In the event of a late cancellation or early departure, the reduced cancellation fee of 2 nights will be charged. The reduced cancellation fee applies only to the Wellness Club member's room as well as his children and parents. The general cancellation conditions apply to other reserved rooms.

Bed & breakfast

Reduction by € 36 per person per night from our half-board price.

Special rates

A limited number of packages at special rates is available. Supplements for higher categories as in the price list. Special-rate packages cannot be changed once booked

Paying with foreign currency

When paying with foreign currency, we use the valid exchange rate on that day.

Types of payment accepted

Cash, debit card or credit cards (Mastercard and Visa).
We recommend that you check your card limit for foreign payments. Many credit cards have an automatic card limit of € 2.500, -
Bank transfer only possible in advance.

If you need your hotel bill in a specific form (for example, invoice to the company address, separate invoices, ...) or pay for the hotel stay and / or consumption of multiple rooms, please let us know before arrival.

Dress code

To finish off each day in style and accentuate the special atmosphere of an evening at Alpenresort Schwarz, we would be delighted if you would dress smartly for dinner. We kindly request that the gentlemen wear long trousers with a shirt or polo shirt – by all means with a jacket. An elegant outfit for the ladies will emphasise the stylish atmosphere in the restaurant.
